Purpose

Harrison Jason is the author of Empowering Young Minds and creator of Youth Development Training. The purpose is to provide proven and natural self-help methods to today's 13 - 25 year olds (although not limited to) with techniques and principles that contribute to the relief of human suffering and maximize ones potential: Empowering Young Minds.
Based on a body of research, personal experience and client success, relief from anxiety, depression and trauma are reachable goals for all those who are willing to prove to themselves what brings about results.

Personal Experience

At the age of 19 Harrison wanted to free himself from his dibilitating anxiety. This inner agony continued for years. Out of sheer necessity he began pursuing the 'truths' to mental and emotional relief.
Three years later, after many hours studying, practising, applying and creating natural self-help techniques he one day found himself driving down Epping Road in Sydney, when all of a sudden he caught himself having an unfamiliar experience: complete freedom from anxiety. Literally from that moment on his goal has been to simply share these natural self-development techniques and principles with those young adults who can benefit. Five years on, after proving that it works just as well for others and many set-backs, the dream continues...

Strength or Weakness?

Is the fact that Harrison has no formal academics, training or qualifications a strength or a weakness? He believes it is a strength because he is walking evidence, and so are his clients, that one doesn't need paperwork to experience inner freedom from fear, anxiety, trauma and depression. Proven results are the foundation of expertise. The little known techniques and principles are completely safe and natural, and to be validated by oneself - Inner experience and proven results qualify themselves.

Q: ""What i have tried before has not worked. How do i know that this will work for me?"

That way it can be proven or disproven by ones experience kind of like watching a movie: forget what the 'critics' say and instead sit your bum in the seat and rate what you see and experience for yourself.


Q: "How old are you?"

HM: 27

Q: "What is the most important factor to help free others from anxiety?"

HJ: 1- The person who finds him or her self in a prison of fear MUST have a WILLINGNESS to TRY what has been proven to work. If they are not willing to get out of the house then how are they going to get a tan! Unless it's fake...

2 - You can only truly learn from those who already 'are' what you can also 'become' because they have been there and freed themselves too; they can hand you the keys to the inner-locks, you could say.


Q: "Does it have anything to do with religion?"

HM: No. As the saying goes freedom 'for' and freedom 'from'.

Q."Does it have anything to do with hypnosis, NLP or CBT?

HM: No. It has nothing to do with any of the above. In my experience i have found so many of the 'popular' techniques to be more entertaining than truely effective. Which has value as people like to be entertained. When one is depressed, confused or 'lost' for example, anything above that level can seem very empowering and attractive. I.e 'When your starving even a cracker looks delicious.'


Q: "Will these natural self-help techniques work for me?"

HM: All that is necessary to change ones self is a willingness to prove or disprove what works for each individual. IF you are willing i.e "I'm willing to open my mind and find out what works for me." Then, Yes, in my experience it will work for you too.

 

Q: "What is this 'purpose' you are following?"

HJ: The purpose is to free today's young adults (but not limited to) from their unnecessary inner pain and suffering to the very best of my ability and the highest good, as a true leader in self-improvement for young adults. That's what 'something' inside of me keeps urging me to do with my life... So i will, i am!

 

Q: "What are the biggest challenges you face following this purpose?"

HM: When you watch a bucket of crabs every now and then one of the crabs attempts to climb up toward freedom, and as it does the other crabs instinctively reach up and pull it back down! Humans do the same thing to each other. So, watch out for those crabs often disguised as 'friends', colleagues and even family!
